This has been one of the busiest weeks this year. Every bit of unfinished business that I have left on my desk before taking the study leave has waited for me and turned into a monster task in the meantime.
I spent the last week doing damage control. Yesterday and the day before I have spent at meetings, presenting stuff that was due... ahem... let's just say "more than a month ago". There's still loads that needs my attention and I don't enjoy the work at all. The more I try, the more I have the feeling that I am a slacker for letting it get this bad. So, all is bad on the work front.
More news on the private front: the spring is finally in full bloom. I need new clothes 
I'm spending this afternoon doing some serious shopping. I look forward to it, which is unusual, because I usually hate shopping. I'm probably just looking forward to spending the afternoon with my friend!
In other news: I am consumed with envy glad you are meeting and socialising at all these blogmeets. So I decided to have one with Deana, who is visiting me end of June. We are inviting another study mate for a chick week at the seaside.
There. Sweet revenge, I hope you are all very jealous. Mwaharharhaaarhaaaa..... I hope they don't nominate me for the laziest or most evil blogger...
